Mike Everson in Roseville & Sacramento - LMFT #97556

As an empathetic and helpful therapist, I have been educated, trained, and provided with life experiences to encourage and support adolescent boys, men of all ages, couples, and families.

I use therapy models that are psychodynamic and experiential to help you connect with those parts of you that are powerful to help you heal within yourself and with others. I am trained in EMDR to help those with trauma. I employ Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to help couples escape cycles of reactivity and connect vulnerably and safely.

I would be honored to help you find the support and healing you need for you and your loved ones.

Lori Pearring in Elk Grove LMFT #47698

I specialize in working with couples who have drifted apart and are having a difficult time navigating their way back together. Often we don’t even know it’s happened. After years of being together, we suddenly realize that we’re miles apart. Maybe you’re beat down from years of parenting, competing in life’s rat race, or had trust broken, or an affair. Or maybe it’s just tough transitioning into a new season of life, like “empty nest”. We can feel so alone!

I love seeing a spark reignite after almost losing hope. Most of my clients show amazing courage and reap the benefit of growing a safe connection with their spouse again.

Also, many adults have forgotten who they are. I naturally recognize and cultivate an individual’s strengths and potential. I help clients get to know themselves more fully and adjust their lives to come alive with less stress and more passion.

Being a child of God is a huge part of my identity, both humbling and empowering! I have been trained clinically and spiritually and can integrate spiritual truths into therapy, if requested. I know that life isn’t about me and consider it a great honor and privilege to help others on their journey.

Karissa King in Elk Grove - LMFT #88714

Are you looking for a therapist for couples counseling or for a Christian teen therapist in Elk Grove? I have been working with couples and teens for about a decade (in clinical, university, and church settings). I absolutely LOVE the journey of walking alongside couples and teens as they explore their potential and how to fulfill that potential. Whether the focus is depression, anxiety, sexuality, drugs/alcohol, balancing work/school, entering early adulthood, or other items, we’ll dive into these discussions together and work on a solution.

I offer counseling that is rooted in a Christian worldview, though those not seeking this approach receive my utmost respect and sensitivity to their worldview. As a Christian counselor, I utilize a holistic approach to healing, drawing from my experiences with the Holy Spirit, while implementing tools that are most beneficial to the client. A variety of approaches have influenced my counseling style and use of tools: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Solution-focused Therapy. I enjoy working with individuals using a Christian framework, which is how I received much of my training.
